		<description>That&#039;s interesting that you picked up on this - just because I mentioned a Rangers player who moved to Arsenal in 1909.

The site you are citing records Arsenal&#039;s history 100 years ago, and of course during this time we had lots of Rangers players moving to Arsenal - and indeed much of our team came originally from Glasgow.   At the time the two clubs were very closely linked - as workers moved from Glasgow to Woolwich looking for work in the armaments factory.

Good to see you found us.  It wasn&#039;t a good time for us though - we were bottom of Division I, 100 years ago
